Affiliate Manager


Role Description

We’re looking for an enthusiastic digital marketer to join our Partnerships team at Arroyo Media. You will be part of a new team at Arroyo, designed to identify & onboard new digital media publishers, blogs, affiliates, influencers, and general marketers, to grow our affiliate network business. After the successful launch of this branch within our business 2 years ago, Arroyo Media is heavily invested in growing out the Partnerships team to continue our success.

 As Affiliate Manager, you’ll identify, contact, onboard, and scale over time, new affiliate partnerships to promote both our client & in-house web properties. The ideal candidate has some experience in either digital media buying, or working for another affiliate network, but is looking to put that experience to better use and take their career to the next level. This role puts you in direct contact with successful bloggers and digital marketers, to build relationships over time that will carry through your career. If you love working with people, getting creative with promotion ideas, and have an apt for seeing opportunities in data, this role is for you.

 Your Role at Arroyo Media:

  • Identify, approach, onboard, and launch new affiliate partnerships on our affiliate network
  • Identify new potential affiliate & publisher partnerships via tools like LinkedIn, Facebook groups, affiliate marketing forums, SEMRush, SimilarWeb, and Google
  • Draft a clear approach strategy over time, to close on new partnerships efficiently
  • Master the HasOffers affiliate tracking platform to provide support and conduct data analysis for affiliate partners
  • Develop expertise in a select group of brand verticals, to provide insight and feedback to affiliate partnerships
  • Analyze data regularly, to ensure drops in affiliate activity are identified + addressed early, and affiliates are alerted of opportunities for higher performing campaigns
  • Represent Arroyo Media at trade shows (2-4 times/year) to build industry contacts

 Who We’re Looking For:

  • 1-3 years of experience in Affiliate Marketing or Digital Media Buying
  • Understands Affiliate Marketing, its terminology, key statistics (Conversion Rate, EPC), and can package these items together into valuable affiliate feedback
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Apple Numbers, or Google Sheets, to manipulate data and find a story or action items
  • Strong attention to detail & organization skills are a must
  • Self-driven and motivated to manage their own time efficiently to achieve goals
  • Comfortable working at a 100% remote company

Preferred but not required skills:

  • Experience using HasOffers affiliate tracking software
  • Experience using APIs for coreg/host & post lead selling
  • Experience in postback URL/server-to-server tracking
  • Experience using products like Canva to create simple images & banners
